Dry ice is fun. Figure out a way to handle it safely. Buy dry ice from suppliers listed in your yellow pages phone book for about $1 per pound. Or in Seattle, get it from QFC grocery, in the seafood section. Dry ice lasts a couple of days when stored in a thick-wall styrofoam box with a lid. It helps if you place a couple of layers of paper bags in the box so the dry ice isn't pushing against the styrofoam. Even better is to wrap it in many layers of aluminized mylar "emergency blanket." If outdoors, keep the box out of the wind (the slightest bit of air motion will evaporate it all within hours.) His apparent contempt for American patriotism and admiration for America's enemies gives further cause for alarm. The "godfather" of the NAU, Robert Pastor stated in August 2009 that 2010 will be the year Obama and the Mexican and Canadian leaders proclaim the "grand vision for North America." Write and call your Senators and Congressmen, urging them to oppose all efforts to continue the SPP, merge the nations, create the Amero or other UN/non-American currency, stop the NAFTA Superhighway, and secure our borders. Email this video to your friends! This Conservative Roundtable interview of Jerome Corsi by Howard Phillips reveals how behind closed doors, the US government collaborates with the governments of Mexico and Canada to merge the three nations into one Socialist mega-state: the "North American Union" (NAU), also known as the "Security and Prosperity Partnership" (SPP). Mr. Corsi is an investigative journalist for www.WND.com where you can find many of his articles exposing the NAU; and he is a best selling author of many books including "Obama Nation." Freedom and our Constitution will have no place in this grim Orwellian future. The Dollar will be scrapped for the "Amero" formed by including Mexican and Canadian currencies (or a global currency led by Red China, Russia and Venezuela) and Socialist economic policies. They ask a question that ought to concern America's 103 million mobile phone users, as well as those who merely come within earshot of these popular devices: Is the wireless future a threat to public health? "Visit any public building, college classroom, courthouse, or commuter train, and look around: You'll see people using not just wireless phones but also wireless laptop computers and miniature palm tops," write Carlo and Schram. "What you won't see are the microwaves that are criss-crossing a confined space where a number of people who are not even using these instruments are bombarded by these waves." It sounds creepy. And Carlo, an epidemiologist who once oversaw a multimillion-dollar research project on health for the cellular industry, believes the news is not good: there may be a link between cell phone use and brain tumors. The research is not conclusive, but Carlo and Schram think it's disturbing enough to warrant government action. Needless to say, the industry that once backed Carlo's work now considers him persona non grata. Due largely to Carlo's coauthorship, Cell Phones is unavoidably a one-sided story. The consumption of trans fats is one of the main causes for the current obesity epidemic. Trans fats are used in thousands of food products. www.naturalnews.com The health risks of trans fats include hart disease, obesity, cancer, clogged arteries, high cholesterol, diabetes, birth defects, allergies in children, etc. Food manufactures use (partially) hydrogenated oils because it increases the shelf life of their products. This means less spoilage, less loss and therefore more profit! In addition, products with trans fat tend to taste quite good. Trans fats are used in fast food, chips, baked goods, french fries, etc. Trans fats are produced through the hydrogenation of vegetable oils such as sunflower and soybean oil. During this chemical process hydrogen molecules are added to the oil molecules and the oil becomes solid as is the case with margarine. When consuming natural fats, it takes the body 18 days to metabolize half of them. When consuming trans fats, it takes the body 51 days to metabolize half of them. This means that half of the trans fats you eat will still be in your body 51 days later! No wonder obesity has become such an epidemic. www.becomehealthynow.com Food products will contain trans fat if they include any of the following ingredients: (partially) hydrogenated oil or fat, shortening, margarine. Butter also contains a small amount of natural trans fat. This is not as harmful as the man ...
