This is the raw audio/video from my iPhone 4 720p HD file from my Trial in Allen, Texas court today Sept., 2nd, 2010. I was arrested while riding my Handsfree Transporter *Segway x2 for Steadicam Operators that is heavily specialized / redesigned to be driven by knees, not hands, so I can run STEADICAM while on it. I was arrested and taken to jail on May 28th, 2010 in Allen, Texas by Allen police. There was no reason for the arrest or the charges and I was charged with two offenses, and I plead not guilty to both. Only one ticket was dismissed today, the violation of driving or riding a non-registered vehicle on the roadways. This is a bogus charge or the officer was dumb because the Segway is not a vehicle, it's considered a bicycle or EMPAD (Electric Mobility Personal Assistive Device) and therefore does not require license, registration, inspection, or any form of id or proof of anything for owning, riding, or operation on public roadways. So, needless to say this charge was dropped before the trial dates were set, of course not legally so until the trial started. So, all I had left to do was prove I was not guilty of driving left of center of the roadway. I don't recall doing this if at all for more than a second and that was after traffic had safely passed and only because I can't jump up a curb to the sidewalk, only down a curb to a lower plain. I explained myself and everything well, but the prosecutor inturn or whatever the young barely out of high school lady ...

After having done this in the winter, on ice and snow, we also decided to take a Summer Segway tour. We went up the mountains in Fiss, all the way up to the Frommes summit and then back down again on a set of X2 Segways. It was really cool :)
