Description

On May 11, "Jason Campbell" tweeted that he was ready to make his NFL return in 2016. Many media outlets saw the tweet and reported the news. One problem: the former Auburn quarterback, and 10-year NFL veteran isn't actually on Twitter. The account was a fake, and has since been removed. Campbell, who left the NFL after his 2014 season with the Cincinnati Bengals, now lives in the Atlanta area and spends some of his time as a quarterbacks coach at Northview High School. He is currently enjoying his retirement, and some much needed relaxation with family and friends. He recently shared his thoughts on his Twitter impersonator, and the subsequent whirlwind of reactions with AL.com's Laura Goldman (https://twitter.com/GOODasGOLDman). And yes, Jason is in the process of getting a real, verified Twitter account. In the meantime, you can follow him on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/smoothjc) to see what he's up to!
